Privacy Policy for Link Extractor — Link Grabber

Effective date: August 27, 2026

Link Extractor — Link Grabber has one purpose: after you click its toolbar button, it extracts supported links from the active page and presents them in a selectable list.

Information handled

When you invoke the extension, it reads href values from link elements in the active page’s top-level document. These page-derived URLs are treated as website content for Chrome Web Store privacy disclosures. The extension does not access a page until you explicitly invoke its toolbar action.

Use of information

The extension uses the link values only to create the result displayed in its popup. It does not use them for analytics, advertising, profiling, eligibility, creditworthiness, monetisation or any unrelated purpose.

Storage, transmission and sharing

Processing occurs locally in Chrome. Extracted URLs are held only in the popup document while it is open. The extension has no developer backend and does not send extracted URLs, page-derived data or usage events to a developer server. It does not persist results locally or remotely and does not sell or share them with third parties. No developer employee or contractor can read the extracted data because the developer never receives it.

Permissions

activeTab provides temporary access to the current page after you invoke the extension. scripting runs the packaged, read-only extraction function on that page. The extension requests no persistent host permission.

Limited Use

Use of information received through Chrome APIs complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Information is used only to provide the extension’s prominently disclosed, user-facing single purpose.

Changes and contact

If this extension’s data practices change, this policy and the Chrome Web Store privacy disclosures will be updated before the changed version is published. Questions can be sent to extensions_chrome@proton.me.
